Top Ten Fictional Crushes

This is in response to Sandy from Somewhere Only We Know's Top Ten Fictional Crushes post. I always wanted to do a post like this and so here it is(: I have also added some of my favorite quotes from these characters.

Tiger's Curse (The Tiger Saga, #1)

Dhiren from Tiger’s Curse by Colleen Houck -
Ren is my number 1 favorite hero and I can't talk about him enough. He sings, reads, and writes poetry! Great series!!

“I am as wrapped up in her as a vine that clings to a tree seeking for sustenance. She’s tied me to her for eternity. She’s my home. She’s my reason for being. To win and hold her heart is my only purpose.”

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)Prince Kai from Cinder by Marissa Meyer - Ok normally I don't really like the prince from any of the Cinderella versions, but Kai is so cool. I think I have to quote IKO here:

“Prince Kai! Check my fan, I think I'm overheating.”  And here is one from Kai:

“I don't want to tell you how to be a prince, but shouldn't you have some bodyguards or something?"

"Bodyguards? Who would want to harm a charming guy like me?”

Pursued (Brides of the Kindred, #6)

Merrick from Pursued by Evangeline Anderson -
Who doesn't love a bad boy now and then (:

Keegan's Lady (Coulter's Historical, #1)

Ace from Keegan’s Lady by Catherine Anderson
- Rugged cowboy with a heart of gold. Need I say more?

Need (Need, #1)

Astley from Need by Carrie Jones -
Nick is nice, but I found Astley to be much more interesting and endearing.

“I want you to want me because you want me, not because of grief, not because he is not here. I want you to love me for me. I want you to kiss me first and not because you need me to help you, but because you need to kiss me.”

Cherish

Race from Cherish by Catherine Anderson -
Apparently I have a thing for cowboys

“And if you ever - and I do mean ever - try to leave me, I’m goin’ with you.”

Tall, Dark & Hungry (Argeneau, #4)

Bastien from Tall Dark & Hungry by Lynsay Sands - He is my favorite Argeneau! He is so sweet and devilishly charming.

“Have you ever seen An American Werewolf in London? Well, I'm not American. I'm not a werewolf, and this isn't London.”

This line made me laugh so much!

Moonlight Warrior (Midnight Bay, #1)

Kenzie from Moonlight Warrior by Janet Chapman -
I love his sweet nature and sometimes roguish ways even if he can be a little dense sometimes.

Dark Magic (Dark, #4)Gregori from Dark Magic by Christine Feehan - Just something about him that makes him so unforgettable.

 “She thumped him again.
He looked startled, then caught her flying fist in his hand and gently pried her fingers open. Very carefully he pressed a kiss into the exact center of her palm. 'Savannah? Were you trying to hit me?'
'I didn't hit you--twice, you scum. You didn't even notice the first time.' She sounded very irritated with him.
For some reason it made him want to smile. 'I apologize, mon amour. Next time, I promise I will notice when you strike me.' The hard edge to his mouth softened into a semblance of a smile. 'I will even go so far as to pretend that it hurts, if you wish it.”

Sweet Nothings (Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan, #3)Jake from Sweet Nothings by Catherine Anderson - I believe this quotes says it all

“[...] He didn't want his wife to read historical romances because it might give her unrealistic expectations. [...] If I had been him, I would have been reading your books every time you laid them down to see how I could improve my skills and please you. Second warning of the night. I bought a couple."
You bought a couple of what?"
Historical romances. I'm three-quarters through the first one." He flashed her a slow grin. "All I can say is, I like the way your mind works."
~Jake Coulter and Molly Wells”

  1. Prince Kai is awesome! And there's more cool guys in Scarlet, although Prince Kai is still special.
