Yes, it's that time of the week again! It's Follow Friday which is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The question of the week is:
What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
This is a very hard question for me because I would love to and do read my favorite books over and over again, but I still like to read new books even if they are mediocre. Not all good books (at least for me) have to be great or life changeing. I just enjoy reading books and every book in my opinion whether its good or bad has something to offer.
What do you guys think?
Great answer! :D New Follower!

Agreed, still I'd rather reread my fave. I'll never get bored, at least I haven't with The Hunger Games.

I do wonder about getting sick of my favourite book, but there are always new angles and nuances to discover. Besides, I just can't bring myself to waste time with mediocre reads.
ReplyDeleteNew follower, by the way. :)

I would pick reading my favs any day but the mediocre are important too. They make us appreciate the really really awesome books even more. New follower.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I agree that almost all books have something to offer, unfortunately some less than others.

Great answer!! I totally agree, I'd rather read a new book, even if it is mediocre. It's nice to always have your favorites to fall back on. :) Thanks for hopping by!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about books not having to be life changing for you to enjoy them. I feel the same way, I just like reading a good story. But if I HAD to pick, I think I'd rather read my fave over and over.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
