Sophia Waterhouse has always been afraid of needles and vampires so there’s no way she wants anything to do with a modern day Count Dracula—even if he does come wrapped in the package of a huge Kindred warrior with blond hair and ice blue eyes. She’s only on the Kindred Mothership to participate in her sister Liv’s wedding and that’s all.

Sylvan is a Tranq Kindred who has made a sacred vow never to call a bride. After a devastating rejection on his home planet, his heart is a block of ice no one can melt—or so he thinks until he meets Sophia.

When their ship is forced down in the middle of a rugged mountain range Sophia and Sylvan are stranded. Running for their lives they have only each other to depend on. Will they give in to the intense attraction between them or will the evil hunting Sophia take its toll? You’ll have to read Brides of the Kindred Book 2—Hunted to find out.

My Thoughts
Heart pounding romance that will have you hooked from the very first page
In this next installment of the Kindred series we get to see more of Sylvan and Olivia’s twin Sophie. We got teasers of this couple in the first book and I was excited to see how things would play out between them.Sophie is on her way to her twin's wedding, unfortunately her and Sylvan end up stranded in the middle of a rugged mountain range with the scourge hot on their tail. These two will have to stay close and trust each other in order to get out alive. The questions is will they be able to deny the attraction and growing affection to each other or will they succumb to a love they both secretly want.
Sophie is such a sweet character and Sylvan was perfect for her. He was the one that was always calm and cool, but whenever Sophie came around he would lose that coldness almost immediately and I thought it was so sweet and loved how their affection for each other grew slowly and how much stronger their love was because of that.
Things heated up between them gradually as well. There were many moments when they become a little more acquainted with each other and each of them helped to build up for when they finally joined. Some of those moments came by because of some misunderstandings, which turned out to be very fortunate for Sophie in my opinion.
The action was fast paced and exciting. I really liked the villain too because he had a reason to be evil and wasn’t just a stand in. He was evil the things he did were cruel and unthinkable and was glad every time someone was able to beat him in any way.
The story also brings out new characters and I was really interested in the twin’s who had their sights set on Kat. Their power was interesting as well and I like how the author describes these new cultures it is unique, interesting, and sometimes funny.
If you have not read this series yet you are definitely missing out. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes sci-fi romances or who just loves a great romantic read.
