Book Review: The Blue Eyes Trilogy by Kristin McMichael ~ 5 Stars!!!

The Legend of the Blue Eyes ( The Blue Eyes Trilogy #1) by B. Kristin McMichael
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Synopsis:

Arianna Grace liked her boring, Midwestern, teenage life where she ignored the many unanswered questions of her childhood. Why were her parents dead? Why did she not have family? Where was she raised until she was five? When someone offers to explain it all, Arianna thinks she’s just getting answers. Instead, she is thrown into a world of night humans who drink blood.

On Arianna's sixteenth birthday, her world is thrown upside down when she changes into a vampire. Night humans, or demons, as some call them, live in normal society. Learning all of the new rules of a world she didn’t know existed might be hard enough, but it's further complicated by two former-friends that now want to help her take her role as the successor to her grandfather.

There is a war going on between the night humans. Sides have been taken and lines are not crossed. Four main clans of night humans are struggling for control of the night. Divided into two sides, clans Baku and Tengu have been at war for centuries with the clans Dearg-dul and Lycan. That is, until Arianna Grace finds out the truth; she’s the bridge of peace between the two sides. But not everyone wants peace. With the night humans divided, Arianna is now a pawn in the war between them. She must choose a side—her mother’s family or her father’s—and for once in her life, decide her own fate.

My Thoughts:

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank B. Kristin McMicchael, author of The Legend of the Blue Eyes, for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this awesome book.

Here we meet Arianna, whose life changes completely on her 16th Birthday when she turns into one of a kind of Night Humans aka vampires. She was oblivious to this fact for long sixteen years and didn’t know the history of her parents as well. She is a hybrid as her parents were two different kinds of Vamps and now she is drawn within a dangerous war of power between four different kinds of night humans (two of the types on one side and the other two on the rival side).

Wow! What a whirlwind experience. This book is awesome and I loved every bit of it. To be honest I got attracted towards this book based on the cover only and thought that this will be another Twilight sidekick but Oh-My-God, I’ve never been so wrong in my life before. This book is totally different than Twilight and though I liked Twilight but the other author used the same plot so many times that I can’t stand that same plot again but don’t worry this book is really unique. Want an example? Well the Dearg-dulls (one kind of vamp) and the Lycans (a kind of werewolves) teams up together in this deadly battle. That’s new, right? I mean Vamps and Weres together and that too without any force from the damsel in distress.

I really loved it thoroughly because it has power-packed action, revelations of secrets, self-discovery, ancient wars, power hungry night humans, Vamps and Weres, unexpected twists and turns and pulse rising mystery. The writing style of the author is smooth and comfy and I quickly got attached with the well flourished characters and with the well planned out plot. Go for it guys and you wouldn’t regret it, I bet!

Well, as always I loved the writing style of the author, it’s so comfortable that I quickly got lost in the mesmerizing yet dangerous world that the author created so brilliantly without even one mistake.
Ari’s life hasn’t come on the right track and now many of her close people are deceiving her and trying to use her as a pawn. Will be succeed? Will Ari be able to come out of this web of lies and betrayal? What will happen when she will come to know about Andrew’s actual goal behind his romantic façade? Are Andrew’s feelings truly manipulated by his Uncle or are they real?
New and grave dangers, extreme action, self-discovery and now Ari will taste the bitter sweet taste of being a Legend!!! Will she be able to handle her responsibilities?
A great read with remarkably developed characters, fantastic plot and unique storyline!!! Surprises are waiting in every page for you, are you strong-hearted enough to jump right into this story? Yes? Then what are you waiting for? Go for it and enjoy!!!

How would you feel when some strangers will fight a tournament for one prize and the prize will be you? Will you accept such a fate? Won’t you want your freedom back?
Well the same thing happens to Ari and to win the hearts and trust of the Night world she has to participate in this and become the prize of the winner. But fortunately destiny had another plan to play!!!
I’m so sad that this is the finale of this series and hope that there will be a spin-off definitely. The ending was perfect and I just couldn’t ask for more. The new characters were awesome and I enjoyed being a part of their journey as well but Ari won the show for me. She developed so much more with each page and we got to see the different aspects of her personality. Mystery, action, suspense are all a part of this book which made it an intriguing read for me.
A great trilogy that I’ll recommend to all and hope that you guys will love it as much as I did. Loved this trilogy from my heart!!!
