This investigation is getting very personal…
P.I.-in-training Valerie LeRoy is dying to get into the field. So when a client asks her to spy on someone, the thrill of her own case is too tempting to refuse. Instead of a cheating fiance, however, Val’s actually checking out P.I. Drake Morgan! Worse, she ends up working with the guy!

Their differing opinions on techniques, and the instant attraction, make the sparks fly. It’s almost impossible to focus on their arson investigation. As the hunt for the truth intensifies and their passion rivals the triple-digit temperature, she and Drake learn why Las Vegas is the city that never sleeps…

My Thoughts
From suspect to lover these P.I.'s know how to crack a case!

A good dose of mystery and intrigue topped with a sweet romance, this book is a real treat! I really enjoyed the action and suspense in this story. I also liked being able to figure out the mystery right along with Val. We are given just enough information throughout the book to keep us interested, but without giving it all away at the beginning.

The romance was well done and nicely paced. These two were able to get to know each other and we were able to see the sparks fly even when they were fighting their attraction. The amount of chemistry these two have is amazing. I loved seeing them interact with one another and really believed that they were a good fit.

Val is a quirky ad determined intern who is very easy to get along with. She does have a stubborn side though, as Leroy comes to see. She was a fun character and I had a great time getting to know her.

Leroy is a great detective, but he does have a bit of a past. He is loyal and determined, especially when it comes to Val. He could be a bit gruff at times, but I loved his character all the same. Almost as much as Val.

For a fun romance mixed with a great mystery check out "Sleepless in Las Vegas"!
