My Thoughts
Be careful what you wish for.

In this story an ordinary girl gets thrust into a world where dreams really can hurt you. The setting was a perfect backdrop to this extraordinary story. What starts out as a dream come true suddenly turns into a nightmare. The whole concept of the Dream world is very imaginative and intriguing. We get to explore a bit of it in this first book and I am eager to learn more about how everything works and its limits in future ones.

My favorite part about this book was the relationship between Christine and Gabriel. At first I was kinda worried because it seemed like it was going to be an insta love kinda thing. However I was happily surprised. Christine and Gabriel do start to get close a bit early on, but instead of forsaking everything for some guy Christine is actually very mature and level headed. Even when things get a little crazy she does never forgets her friends and does her best to find a way to make things right. I really admired her calm and rational thinking, especially since I would have probably been completely crazy at that point. Her and Gabriel do come to care for one another very much, but things weren't easy and it made them all the stronger for it.

Gabriel is a misunderstood boy who just wanted to be normal. He is funny, smart, and really interesting. He knows what a risk it is to make friends which is why he tries to avoid Christine at first, but eventually he learns that he can't hide forever. He really grows a lot throughout the story. It was nice to see him go from the moody misunderstood boy to the man who finally stood up for himself and fought back.

I can't wait to see these two extraordinary characters in the next installment. It promises to be a very action packed and emotionally charged book.

I am a Paranormal Junkie and am not ashamed to admit it. My Favorite Genre is Romance, especially Paranormal Romance, but I read all types of books and am never one to turn down a great story no matter what genre it comes from.
