My Thoughts
You're An Alien!
Daemon and Katy's story continues in Onyx where the stakes are higher and the danger more imminent. In this next installment not only do we learn more about the Luxen and their strange abilities, but also their enemies. Which may be more than even they realized. I was also extremely delighted to find that there was a lot more Daemon in this book too. Who wouldn't want more Daemon?
Daemon is a lot more determined in this book, but so is Katy. There struggled continue to mount as well as their feelings for each other. So it was only a matter of time before things came to a head. Their relationship goes through some growth in this book and I enjoyed seeing them move closer together even when they seemed to be at each others throats.
We also get to meet a couple of new characters one of whom we've heard a little about. There were plenty of twists and turns in this book and I highly recommend bringing some tissues along for the ride because your emotions will definitely be put through the ringer.
