Bio:
I am an avid reader
of novels with a deep passion for writing. I especially love romance
and adore writing about people falling in love. I live a lot in the
worlds I create and I actively speak to my characters (out loud). I
have a warrior way “never give up on my dream.” When I am not
writing, I spend a copious amount of time drooling over Rick Grimes
from Walking Dead, watching Japanese anime and playing video games
with my love– Dusean Nelson.
The
Duke’s Shotgun Wedding Book Synopsis:
Victorian
Era England…
As
far as rash decisions go, it was formidable. But Lady Jocelyn
Rathbourne’s will remains strong. If the only way to save her
family’s estate and reputation is by aiming a small pistol at the
Duke of Calydon, then so be it. For Lady Jocelyn demands
satisfaction—and she will have it at any cost. Even if it means
demanding the hand of the intense and foreboding Duke himself...
But
she’s made the first move against a very
dangerous opponent...
For
Sebastian Thornton is no stripling to be trifled with. The lady has
played her hand. Now it’s his
turn. For Sebastian is in need of a wife. And to find a wife with
spirit and fire—even if she means to only marry for his money—would
be a great prize indeed. And he intends to thoroughly take his
pleasure with her... and demand his own satisfaction in return.

My Thoughts
What happens when two unstoppable forces come together?
The marriage of the century that's what. This story is full of intrigue, clashing of the minds, and romance. Navigating the twists and turns was so much fun. There is a lot of emotion packed into this novella that readers will not be able to get enough of.
No wilting flower Jocelyn is one of a kind in an era where women were taught to be obedient. Not only is she willful, stubborn, and with a mouth on her to boot she also knows what she wants and does whatever it takes to get it. I loved Jocelyn and her courage and strength to do what had to be done. She is spunky and with an outer shell that seems very tough, but on the inside she is a really kind and gentle soul.
Sebastian is the perfect opponent to Jocelyn and is fully capable of taking anything she can dish out. He is very honorable and charming even in the face of Jocelyn's cutting remarks. He knows how to push her buttons and I loved seeing these two banter. Sebastian is also very patient, which is a good thing because it will take a lot to win over Jocelyn. The chemistry between these two practically sizzled off the pages.
You will not want to miss the clashing of these two incredible characters. Find out if love wins in "The Duke's Shotgun Wedding"!
