In celebration of the cover reveal of Tiger's Destiny and Summer Vacation for me I am hosting a giveaway for an ARC of Tiger's Destiny. The giveaway will last until the end of the first week of July. (BTW this cover is absolutely gorgeous I can't wait to get my hands on the final version!!)

First a little bit on why I absolutely love this book!

The Tiger's Curse series are one of the few book series that just take me away into a world filled with magic, adventure, and true love. It is so easy to get lost in these books for hours on end and imagine myself as the heroine Kelsey. I have a lot in common with Kelsey (except for the fact that I'm no where near as brave) so imagining myself as her is really easy Kelsey may be fighting mythical creatures and unimaginable obstacles, but she still faces many of the same things other girls her age do. Kelsey grows a lot throughout the series and It is almost impossible not to become attached to her as well as a few other characters. As a character Kelsey really is one of the best heroines I have ever read about and I really admire her strength and courage in the face of all the changes going on in her life, the mythical and sometime even more so for the otherwise ordinary ones.

This is a great quote that describes a bit of what Kelsey learns on her remarkable journey and what some of the readers such as myself have learned.

“To have regret is to be disappointed with yourself and your choices. Those who are wise, see their life like stepping stones across a great river. Everyone misses a stone from time to time. No one can cross the river without getting wet. Success is measured by your arrival on the other side, not on how muddy your shoes are. Regrets are only felt by those who do not understand life’s purpose. They become so disillusioned that they stand still in the river and do not take the next leap.”
Colleen Houck

There are just so many things that I love about this series and so many lessons that I have learned I would never be able to fit them all into one post. To sum it up I think I will just quote Belle from "Beauty and the Beast"and say

“It’s my favorite! Far-off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise...” - Belle

  3. I love this series. I really enjoy the Indian mythology. I think the quests they go on are awesome and written very well. And those boys...every girl will be wishing they had a guy like that! Sweethearts. Although i love both boys for different reasons, i do not like the love triangle. I want kelsey to be with ren already!! And i would like a happy ending to the book!! But i love this series. I really love the story..and I've always loved tigers! When i finish each book, its hard for me to stop thinking about...i want to know what happens next!
