My Thoughts
Gena Showalter is an amazing author and I could not wait to get my hands on her newest novel "Black and Blue", I was not disappointed. There was no lag in this book it was a fast paced and action packed book of awesome!
I also really love her characters and the biggest reason for this is that they are so real. They are not saints or all evil they are human. They have faults, desires, dreams and most of all their not perfect, but the are real and that's what makes them all the more fascinating to me.
Corbin is a man who knows what he wants and knows how to get it. He was a law onto himself and very fun to read about. Corbin is also pretty stubborn so it was fun to see him interact with Evangeline and see her put him in his place.
Evangeline was also a very strong woman who didn't back down from a fight. Seeing both of these Strong characters battle it out was so much fun! I also really liked her gentle side and how even as tough as she was she was still caring and kind.
This story is a blast from beginning to end and you will not want to miss out on Corbin and Evangeline's story!
