Synopsis:

On the outside, Dina Demille is the epitome of normal. She runs a quaint Victorian Bed and Breakfast in a small Texas town, owns a Shih Tzu named Beast, and is a perfect neighbor, whose biggest problem should be what to serve her guests for breakfast. But Dina is...different: Her broom is a deadly weapon; her Inn is magic and thinks for itself. Meant to be a lodging for otherworldly visitors, the only permanent guest is a retired Galactic aristocrat who can’t leave the grounds because she’s responsible for the deaths of millions and someone might shoot her on sight. Under the circumstances, "normal" is a bit of a stretch for Dina.

And now, something with wicked claws and deepwater teeth has begun to hunt at night....Feeling responsible for her neighbors, Dina decides to get involved. Before long, she has to juggle dealing with the annoyingly attractive, ex-military, new neighbor, Sean Evans—an alpha-strain werewolf—and the equally arresting cosmic vampire soldier, Arland, while trying to keep her inn and its guests safe. But the enemy she’s facing is unlike anything she’s ever encountered before. It’s smart, vicious, and lethal, and putting herself between this creature and her neighbors might just cost her everything.

My Thoughts:

Rating: 5 Stars

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank the author for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book.

Oh My God!!! What was that??? The book made me stay up all night and the next day I just wandered around like a zombie because I was sleep deprived. It's the fault of this awesome story that made me enjoy every moment of it.

Man oh man, I loved this book and the story. I couldn't believe that even after using the concept of vampires and werewolf mix for the millionth time by different authors still Ilona Andrews can dump in such unpredictable twists to make this read happening and entertaining.

The plot is superb and unique yet modern. I mean have you ever thought that a simple and ordinary looking Bed & Breakfast can be a supernatural den? Well, I haven't thought about eat before entering one. Lol!!! The storyline is great and there wasn't any boring moment in it that would have made you skip pages and wait for something interesting to happen.

The characters are great and developed too but Dina is my favourite of all and I really enjoyed being a part of her restless life where she tries hard to keep her neighborhood safe and secure.

The humor element is fully stacked in this story and some of the action scenes were brilliant too. The absolute fantastic execution of the concept should be praised and I'm glad that I got the opportunity of sharing my views about this fabulous book with all of you. A definite read for all and hope that you guys will love it too. Happy reading!!!
