My Thoughts

Family secrets can be deadly.

I loved the suspense and mystery packed into this story. There were a lot of twists and turns that kept me guessing. The romance was nice and set at a decent pace with no insta love. I really liked the different aspects of this story and the paranormal elements really made the story that much darker.

Eila was a strong heroine with attitude. I loved her sassy nature and that she didn't let others walk all over her. She really held her own even when things started to get messy. Her relationship with Raef was interesting, sweet, and at times funny. There interactions were never boring and I enjoyed seeing Raef getting under her skin even though he could be annoying.

Raef is very protective, strong, and determined. He has lots of secrets and at first is hard to understand, but he has a reason for everything he does. He is kind and loyal to those he loves. I can't wait to see where he and Eila go in the future.

This is one paranormal romance you won't want to miss!
